The P12 creates a magnetic disturbance field that functions like a coupling clamp to link the disturbance current into conducting paths.

FAIRPORT, N.Y. – Electronics distributor Saelig Co. Inc. in Fairport, N.Y. is offering the P1 Mini Burst Generator Kit from Langer EMV-Technik GmbH in Bannewitz, Germany, which helps test and measurement experts to check and optimize the interference immunity of electronic assemblies.

The P11 Mini Burst Field Generator creates a magnetic disturbance field with a diameter of 3 millimeters at its tip. It transmit localized pulses through this field onto the surface of printed circuit boards and components to help detect weak points in conducting paths, components, and component connectors. Included in the set are P11, P12, and P21 handheld injectors.

Magnetic disturbance

The P12 creates a magnetic disturbance field that functions like a coupling clamp. Users can couple the disturbance current into conducting paths, IC pins, SMD components, and thin or flat cables to test for electronic interference.

The P21 creates an electric field at its tip for coupling into conducting paths, wires, pins, and components, especially SMD components like resistors and capacitors. It also can help evaluate flat cable conductors or plug contacts.
