IRVINE, Calif. – Marvin Test Solutions Inc. in Irvine, Calif., is shipping the MTS-3060A SmartCan Gen2 universal O-level armament test set, which already been selected by several countries, to support flight-line test of complex armament systems flown on the F-15, F-16, F/A-18, and Hawk combat aircraft.
The MTS-3060 SmartCan universal O-level armament test set is for smart and legacy armament systems, replacing several obsolete test sets with one handheld test solution that is small and easy to use while providing enhanced test capabilities. It provides testing capabilities for MIL-STD-1760 based systems.
The MTS-3060A SmartCan Gen2 delivers augmented test capabilities, expanded weapons capability, enhanced cyber security, extended battery life, and additional communication channels.
The test set for combat aircraft uses the Marvin Test Solutions ATEasy test executive and test development software with a simple-to-learn programming environment, hardware and software simulation, and online user support.
