Long-wave infrared (LWIR) camera for industrial machine vision introduced by Teledyne DALSA
WATERLOO, Ontario – Teledyne DALSA in Waterloo, Ontario, is introducing the Calibir GX series of long-wave infrared (LWIR) cameras for industrial machine vision applications.
Built to achieve frame rates of up to 90 frames per second, the shutterless and small form-factor GX series are for non-destructive testing in applications that include electronics inspection, food inspection, and parts and packaging.
The Calibir GX series of thermal cameras are available in 320-by-240-pixel, and 640-by-480-pixel resolutions and feature shutterless operations.
With radiometric functionality, the cameras can measure temperatures between -25 degrees Celsius and 125 C. Advanced calibration enables the camera to deliver images within milliseconds upon power-up, without shutter.
GX thermal cameras deliver continued stable performance and are suitable for long-running, remote monitoring systems.
