Europe, Japan, Chile, and India ground Boeing 787 following FAA emergency airworthiness directive
COLOGNE, Germany, 18 Jan. 2013. Officials at the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), Japanese Transport Ministry, and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) in India and Chile have followed the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA’s) emergency airworthiness directive, grounding all Boeing 787 Dreamliners in their jurisdictions until safety concerns are assuaged.
