Building aircraft and avionics at home
The MakerPlane aircraft is being designed specifically for building on a computer-controlled router (CNC) and using 3D printers for non-structural components, such as throttle knobs and handles, as well as for tools and jigs to assist with the build process.
The build process includes step-by-step build and assembly instructions, videos, and animations. Slots and tabs are used where possible to aid in assembly.
