Parker Aerospace expands global support in Middle East
FARNBOROUGH, England, 16 July 2014. Customer Support Operations officials at Parker Aerospace, a business segment of Parker Hannifin Corp., have launched a global pooling center in the Middle East to provide increased regional service support for customers.
The warehouse and distribution center has been launched in support of a Parker Aerospace global pooling initiative to increase support for customers located and flying around the world. Located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.), the center is the first in a series of pooling facilities being launched around the globe in order to respond more quickly to airline service needs.
Members from Parker’s Customer Support Organization and SDV stand outside a new warehouse and distribution center in Dubai, UAE. It is the first in a series of pooling facilities being launched to aid the recent expansion of Parker’s component support availability and repair exchange services around the world.
Following an extensive source evaluation process, Parker Aerospace selected SDV as our global third-party logistics solution.
The launch of the pooling center in Dubai coincides with Parker’s recent expansion of its component support availability and repair exchange services on the company’s wide range of hydraulic, flight control, and fuel systems for customers in the Middle East.
With the expansion of services, customers will benefit from an extensive inventory of Parker Aerospace products on aircraft, including the Boeing 777 and 787, and Airbus A380 and A350 XWB. In addition, customers will be able to receive new products and exchange components directly from Parker via the Parker/SDV relationship in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
“Parker’s focus is always to provide premier service to our customers,” says Bonnie Peat, vice president of Customer Support Operations for Parker Aerospace. “We are excited to be expanding our services in the significant Middle East aerospace marketplace.”
