JOHANNESBURG -- Charter company ExecuJet South Africa has begun installation of Honeywell International's JetWave satellite communications hardware on portions of its fleet, marking the first time the technology manufacturer has provided in-flight Wi-Fi solutions for business jets in Africa.
The JetWave hardware is being placed in ExecuJet's Bombadier Global Express and Challenger 604 aircraft, giving them access to the Inmarsat's Ka band satellite communications network.

The turnkey installations can be completed in about two weeks, according to Honeywell, minimizing downtime for the operator.
