Leidos, SeeTrue partner to enhance AI-powered airport security screening
RESTON, Va. - Leidos in Reston, Va. has announced a partnership with artificial intelligence software company SeeTrue in Tel Aviv to enhance airport security and customs screenings using AI-driven threat detection algorithms.

The collaboration will integrate Leidos’ Trusted Mission AI approach with SeeTrue’s advanced technology, aiming to expedite the development of algorithms capable of identifying prohibited items such as currency and narcotics. These solutions are slated for deployment through Leidos’ ClearScan CT scanner, which utilizes computed tomography technology to enhance passenger convenience by allowing liquids and electronics to remain in carry-on luggage.
SeeTrue’s AI solutions are designed for integration with existing X-ray and CT scanners, enhancing efficiency by automating threat detection and optimizing workflows. In October 2024, SeeTrue’s AI-based security screening technology was demonstrated at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, showcasing its real-world application and effectiveness.
