DANBURY, Conn. – Amphenol RF in Danbury, Conn., is introducing sealed IP67 straight crimp plug FAKRA connectors for industry-standard TFC 302LL cable for automotive and industrial applications like sensors integration, automated inspection and vehicle communications networks.

These plug connectors support TFC 302LL and comparable cable types, which offer reliable mechanical and electrical performance and low-loss. This FAKRA plug is color-coded and mechanically keyed for easy installation and is available in the universal Z code.

The rear mount bulkhead feature allows for mounting through a panel or enclosure wall for a stable and secure connection. This plug is sealed in the mated and unmated condition. A gasket seals the interface internally, while an o-ring seal sits between the flange and panel mount.

The FAKRA plug has a rugged plastic housing over a nickel-plated die cast zinc alloy body and flange, as well as a gold-plated, brass center contact and a nickel-plated, copper ferrule.

This 50 ohm FAKRA plug ensures high-frequency data transmission to 6 GHz, and standard straight crimp die sets terminate the connector to the cable. For more information contact Amphenol RF online at www.amphenolrf.com.
