Rugged 10-inch tablet computer with front and rear cameras for military applications introduced by Getac
IRVINE, Calif. – Getac Technology Corp. in Irvine, Calif., is introducing the ZX10 rugged tablet computer for military, public safety, utilities, energy, transportation, and logistics applications.
The 10-inch tablet computer is built around the Android 11 operating system (OS), Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 mobile platform, and Adreno 512 graphics processing unit (GPU).
Dual hot-swappable batteries ensure full-shift operation, while the LumiBond sunlight-readable display offers 800 nits of brightness with rain and glove touch capability. An option of ads much as 6 gigabytes of LPDDR4 RAM and 128 gigabytes of data storage is available.
An eight-megapixel front and 16-megapixel rear cameras deliver high-quality photo and video capture, while dual integrated microphones help filter out loud background noise.
The rugged tablet offers Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth (v5.0), dedicated GPS, an optional 4G LTE module, and support for AT&T FirstNet for Public Safety. Dual LTE SIM card slots provide additional coverage when necessary without physically swapping cards.
The device meets MIL-STD-810H and IP66, and can withstand drops of as high as six feet, shock, rain, vibration, dust, and liquid spillages. It operates in temperatures from -29 to 63 degrees Celsius. delivers year-round usability, even in extreme conditions.
