TAIPEI, Taiwan – AAEON Technology in Taipei, Taiwan, is introducing the SRG-IMX8PL and PICO-IMX8PL Mini PC and 2.5-inch PICO-ITX RISC embedded computing board for industrial uses in rugged environments.

These rugged products have the NXP i.MX 8M Plus processor, featuring a quad-core Arm Cortex-A53 processor with a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) operating as fast as to 2.3 tera-operations per second.

Built to provide a cost-efficient IoT Gateway in industrial applications, the SRG-IMX8PL and PICO-IMX8PL operate in temperatures from -40 to 80 degrees Celsius with the use of a fanless heat sink, and a 9-to-36-volt power input range. The SRG-IMX8PL Mini PC also features enhanced shock, drop, and vibration resistance.
