Power fuses for 250-volt applications in industrial, automotive, and smart homes introduced by Littelfuse

June 13, 2025
Designed to provide buffering for 250-volt applications with unpredictable voltage, the 415 series offers fault current protection in an SMD package.

Summary points:

  • New Nano2 415 series SMD fuses offer 1500A interrupting rating at 277V for demanding industrial and EV applications.
  • Designed for 250V systems, these fuses provide high-fault current protection in a space-saving surface-mount package.
  • SMD design supports automated assembly, reduces production costs, and offers a drop-in replacement for Littelfuse 215 series.

ROSEMONT, Ill. – Littelfuse Inc. in Chicago is introducing the Nano2 415 series SMD surface-mount fuses with a 1500 amps interrupting rating at 277 volts for space-constrained applications like industrial inverters, converters, and instrumentation; electric vehicle charging stations; and smart home systems.

Designed to provide buffering for 250-volt applications with unpredictable voltage fluctuations, the 415 series offers fault current protection in a compact SMD package.

High-fault current protection

Features include protection against high-fault currents in critical applications; buffering in 250-volt applications; improved surge- and pulse-withstand capacity; streamlined automated assembly processes; and reduced overall production costs.

The 415 series of fuses provides a drop-in replacement option, and serves as a SMD alternative to the Littelfuse 215 Cartridge series. Switching to an SMD fuse can enable designers to automate their manufacturing processes and speed production.

The 415 series SMD Fuses are available in tape and reel format in quantities of 1,500. For more information contact Littelfuse online at https://www.littelfuse.com/products/fuses-overcurrent-protection/fuses/surface-mount-fuses/nano-2-fuses/415.
