WATERLOO, Ontario – Teledyne DALSA in Waterloo, Ontario, is introducing a shutterless version of the company's MicroCalibir long-wave infrared (LWIR) compact camera core.
The small and lightweight MicroCalibir uses Teledyne DALSA's 12-micron microbolometer pixel technology with a deep-ADC ROIC circuit, and offers a 1000-degrees-Celsius intra-scene temperature range.
This camera core improves size, weight, and power (SWaP), and uninterrupted image acquisition with no acoustic noise or possibility of shutter fatigue, and can withstand high levels of shock and vibration.
MicroCalibir is supplied without a housing and with an M18 interface for QVGA video format or M24 in VGA format, and measures 21 by 21 by 12.9 millimeters with lens mount and electronics boards, and weighs 10 grams.
