SAINT-CLOUD, France. Officials atDassault Aviation in Saint-Cloud, France, and Thales in La Defense, France, are kicking off the Man-Machine Teaming (MMT) project – focused on advancing artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and human relation system or human-machine interface (HMI) technologies for the benefit of aerospace applications – on 16 March 2018 in the presence of French Minister of Armed Forces Florence Parly.

MMT, a delegation générale de l’Armement initiative led by Dassault Aviation and Thales, will bring together an innovative ecosystem in the field of artificial intelligence and new man-machine relationship applied to combat aeronautics.
One hundred start-ups, small- and medium-size enterprises (SMEs), and research organizations in the fields of AI, robotics, and human relation systems are expected on 16 March 2018 at Dassault Aviation in Saint-Cloud for the launch of the MMT project.
This kick-off will take place in the presence of Mrs. Florence Parly, Minister of the Armed Forces.

Following the launch this month, seminar presentations of selected research themes and the opening of the detailed proposal selection process are expected to take place in May 2018, with the first partnership contracts slated to be signed in September 2018.
