CHATSWORTH, Calif. – Aitech Defense Systems Inc. in Chatsworth, Calif., is introducing the low power U-C9140 PowerPC-based 3U VPX single-board computer for mission computers, sensor and signal processing, signals intelligence, and electronic warfare (EW).
The U-C9140 aligns to Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA) and Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) technical standards, and is based on the NXP QorIQ T1/T2 series SoC multi-core, multi-thread processors.
For improved security assurance and protection against cyber attacks, the U-C9140 embedded computing board also includes the latest QorIQ Secure Boot and Trust Architecture 2.0.
On-board I/O and memory includes as much as 8 gigabytes of DDR3L and 64 gigabytes of eMMC flash on-board mass storage, and an industry-standard XMC slot.
